He holds on Economics and Business degree from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, Italy. Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor, from 1995 to 1997 he held the role of Head of Corporate Actions at JPMorgan Chase & Co and from 1997 to 1998 he was Vice President Business Development at BNP Paribas S.A. In 1997 he was designated by the Minister of Economy and Finance as a member of the Council of Economic Experts, reporting directly to the Director General of the Ministry of the Treasury, Mario Draghi. From 1998 to 2008 he held the position of CEO of MTS S.p.A. and EuroMTS, the pan-European government bond market. In 2006 he was appointed by the European Commission as a member of the ESME (European Securities Markets Expert Group). In June 2007 he was designated Knight of Merit of the Italian Republic. From 2007 to 2009 he held the position of Managing Director of Dresdner Kleinwort, until 2010 the position of President of Dresdner Finanziaria S.p.A. and from August 2011 to October 2012 he was Senior Advisor in Commerzbank A.G.. He founded Banca Sistema and has held the position of CEO since 2011. He is President of EBN Sistema Finance S.L. since 2020 and of Art-Rite since November 2022. Since April 2021 he has been a Director of Borsa Italiana S.p.A. (Vice President from May 2022), and since 2019 he has held the role of President of Kruso Kapital S.p.A.

He holds a master's degree in Economics of Markets and International Trade at University of Naples and an MBA at the STOA' Business School. From 2004 to 2005 you took on the role of analyst at F.G.M. S.r.l.. From 2006 to 2008 he took on the role of consultant at Nike Consulting S.p.A.. From 2008 to 2009 he took on the role of organizational analyst at Banca Galileo S.p.A.. From 2010 to 2014 he took on the role of manager at Accenture S.p.A.. From 2014 to 2017 he took on the role of organizational function manager at Banca Sistema and, from 2017 to 2019, the role of commercial director of pawn credit. Since 2020 he has been a member of the board of directors and vice president of Assopengo. Since 2019 he has held the role of General Director of Kruso Kapital S.p.A. and since 2022 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of ProntoPegno Grecia and Art-Rite.
